What is Motivation?:
Well, you came to the right place to find your answers. Lets start with "What is motivation". I'm sure all of you had heard that term before but lets dive a little deeper into the meaning. Motivation is something that pushes you to keep going and to grow your mindset, goals and beliefs. It is the reason for action. It is the reason something keeps you filled with a feeling of "I WANT THIS! I'M GOING TO WORK FOR IT! I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN". It is a desire you want to achieve, let it be short or long term. Motivation also involves the biological, emotional, social, and cognitive forces that activates behavior. At the end of the day, the word "motivation" is often used to describe why a person does something.
Since we discussed the definition and meaning of "Motivation", your next step is to ask yourself "How can I be motivated" and "What motivates me?". The first thing I would suggest you to do is Disconnect and Connect.
You need to take some time to disconnect from the internet and take a trip of self discovery. What that means is that in order to be truly be motivated and have that feeling of "I WANT TO ACHIVE THAT!", you first need to find out what guides you, why you want to reach that specific goal and do a little soul and mind searching. After you have found that you need, connect to that deep spot deeply.
Connecting is the next most important thing. Once you have reached that deep spot of connection you need to visualize it. You need to figure out your strategy or plan of how you will make everything work and how it will benefit your life and possibly those around you. Your goal might be to improve your physical health, so write down a workout schedule that will work for you. Your goal might be to improve your mental health, so start meditating. Your goal might be to start a business, so find out what you want your business to look like. Motivation starts with you!
What do I do if I Lose Motivation?:
Unfortunately, all of us face this at least once in our life. You might feel overwhelmed and tired. You might feel like whatever you started won't have any results and you might feel burned out. This is why I suggest to disconnect again. Take some time to yourself, reflect on what you've been doing and how you can change your plan, routine or schedule, but don't take too long of a break because it might be too late to start again from where you left off.
